The student is taught to pronounce silent and doubled letters, practice pronouncing words, and learn to recognize and pronounce tanween (nunation) in its three forms. They are trained to pronounce sentences correctly, free of spelling errors, and to write words correctly, avoiding spelling mistakes. The student is prepared to recite directly from the Quran and acquire the fundamentals of reading, enabling them to read independently from any Arabic book.
The student learns the basics of Arabic grammar, including pronouns, demonstrative pronouns, verbs, nouns, and prepositions, as well as spelling rules.
